With 60,000 sq. ft. of open floor space, this exhibit hall is a heavily used building at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds. This building was designed for flexible, multi-purpose use serving the variety of events at the fairgrounds. Centrally located on the site, the building links the agricultural barns to its north, with the Expo Center and fair midway to its south. It also provides restroom facilities for the fairgrounds midway. The building was built in compliance with federal ADA regulations, and the design was executed to accommodate future expansion.
CJC Architects worked with Expo Square on this and multiple other projects on the site. Construction was also coordinated in phases to reduce disruption of large events scheduled year-round at the site. This project and most of the other projects utilized fast track design and construction phasing.
