Designed to accommodate three grade levels of 650 students, this new middle school was designed and constructed to replace an adjacent aging school building. The new school building includes classroom and administrative spaces, a cafeteria and kitchen capable of serving 300 for both breakfast and lunch, a library and media lab, a 700-seat auditorium, fine arts classrooms, and a gymnasium with an athletic wing. The design was compartmentalized to allow the neighborhood community to use the facilities after hours without accessing adjacent school spaces.
